We the Students of Class 10th,11th and 12th request the Concerned authorities to grant us relaxation in the syllabus for the Annual Examination that is to be held in November. In the Below Points I'll try to highlight why we need a reduction in syllabus.

1.First of all the most obvious reason which is that this year we only got a couple of weeks as working days and soon due to the prevailing situations our schools/coaching centres were closed.

2.According to a recent survey around 70% students in Kashmir don't have access to proper digital tools to Attend Online Classes due to which most of the students will not be able to complete the syllabus despite community classes.

3.Due to the chaos caused by covid pandemic last year,Our examinations were delayed by a lot. Some of the papers were held in late december and some even in early January. This already put us at a disadvantage because this year exams are most likely going to start in november which means even without the 2nd and third wave of coronavirus,we were already at a disadvantage to begin with.We would've already had 2 months less than usual sessions and now due to lockdown this year too the loss has been multiplied by many folds.

I could go on and on about many other problems we're facing currently in regards to Education but I think I've made the point and the concerned authorities are wise enough to figure out the rest and make a solid decision.

Finally I would just like to request the concerned authorities to Reduce the syllabus by 40% just like last year because even though a good percentage of students had an edge this year as compared to last year due to 4g being available but due to the delay in exams last year and several other factors I would say Studies have suffered just as much as last year. Moreover We simply cannot compare online classes to offline ones as there is a huge difference in quality here which we cannot ignore.
