Chairman Jeremy Zellner has had a terrible record as party Chairman, using a top down approach that he uses to squash dissent and dominate local political power.
He’s also the Commissioner of the Board of elections, which creates an inherent conflict of interest. Many local chairs work for him. He is literally the party boss.
Recently, he used party resources and his role as chairman to attack progressive candidates who won unprecedented victories despite his opposition.
These elections show we need change. He has had the role of chairman for too long. He has too much power. But he cannot lose because so many of the local chairs work for him and fear him.
He must resign.
