As an alumni, I am very sad to hear about this. CHS football players are not the first football players to have broken bones; it's a risk that comes with the sport. If the parents and the students consent, the administration should not get involved. This decision is hurting more than just those 49 players. This decision is also hurting the jv football players, band, pep sqaud, dance drill, and the rest of the CHS athletic programs that depend on the revenue from football.
