My Costco membership is not worth contributing to the destruction at Standing Rock and putting those who live there in danger!

I am asking Costco to pressure Citibank to withdraw from the Dakota Access Pipeline project. As promoters of renewables and organics and the environment...Costco should demand immediate withdrawal of financial support from Citibank or Costco must end its partnership with Citibank. If no action is taken...Costco will be held accountable for its compliance with Citibank and face losing customer support....

I am signing because I stand against the actions of DAPL. I will discontinue the card if citi continues to support thDAPL.

I have been an "executive member" since I joined, but that will stop until Citibank no longer supports DAPL. The little dividend check is nice, it's helpful, but it sure isn't worth this injustice.

I do not want to support the DAPL and am getting rid of my Citibank credit cards. But it is the only card Costco accepts. Should I just use cash from now on, or are there enough people willing to pressure Costco and CitiCorp to defund the DAPL?

What is happening at Standing Rock is a violation of human rights and environmental safe guards. Financial institutions have a duty to do their due diligence when investing and ensure they are not causing destruction and harm.
