Baba Ramdev had claimed that Coronil produced by Patanjali is a sureshot remedy for  Covid-19.This claim was not endorsed by health ministry as proper scientific research and trials have not been done.Later Madras Highcourt forbade use of name Coronil and advertising as remedy of Corona.This medicine needs to be tested for safety as it is still available in market as Patanjali Divya Coronil kit for Rs.545/-. I have faith in ayuvedic system of healing and i think ayurvedic medicines are very good in India, but if someone says that Coronil can cure corona within seven days, it creates some doubt.I fear that to find opportunity in a crisis and creating a market it is possible that some  corticosteroids might have been added to give instant results. Government must get the medicine tested for its ingredients to ensure safety of people from unknown side effects of the medicine.Patanjali should be asked to stop selling it till such testing has been done and medicine found to be safe.
