Judges and Judicial officers are a Pillar of Indian Constitution.
Judges /Judicial officers since the start of their service are overburdened with cases and this pattern of work continues throughout their service tenure which often leads to deterioration of their health despite they compromising on their social and many other aspects of life.
It's seen that post their retirement they are further offered or delegated by the State or Central administration to preside over Commissions and/or Tribunals.
which work, they often do not deny considering the amount of faith imposed on these Judges / Judicial officers by the State , Central government, Statutory bodies; they further carry on serving the society even after their retirement which is completely not justified, considering their strenuous service/work they have done throughout the life.
I believe at least post their retirement they should be given complete rest, even if they consent to work after their retirement on probono basis.
Central government should enact a law on this subject of
"No further work for Judges/Judicial Officers post their retirement"
