We the employees of Central EMS demand a reconsideration of the change of insurance. We request to cease coverage by Blue Cross Blue Shield and wish to seek coverage by a different company. BCBS has provided unsatisfactory benefits that pale in comparison to our previous coverage. Grievances include but are not limited to: our out of pocket monetary expenses increasing, prescriptions failing to be covered or made more difficult on the employee to obtain coverage, and inadequate scope of healthcare services. Central EMS has historically listed good healthcare insurance as an incentive for employment. The recent insurance change does not reflect that incentive as it has in the past, and does not portray Central EMS as a competitive place of employment. Note: this petition is not calling for a switch specifically back to previous coverage provided by United Healthcare, rather that Central EMS explore difference options than the current one provided. 

By signing this document, I state that as an employee of Central EMS, I am unsatisfied with my current healthcare insurance and request other options be explored by my employer.
