I often travel up to Umina with family and have witnessed teenagers intimidating security near Ocean Beach Park. I understand the fears and frustrations of the locals.
Please help this community become a safe place.

Our community needs safe community spaces that are well resourced and valued not just during the day but at night as well. This proposal not only supports a local business but looks to make long term changes to support mechanisms in our community to assist those in need, so their needs are being met too and they can make more positive choices.

It’s such a great space, that could be kept in good condition with some simple measures that ensure the space is safe and an attraction for the area for now and well into the future.
