With the Covid-19 virus spreading north of Sydney, I have been talking about a layer of protection for the Central Coast for a while since we were included as a part of ‘Greater Sydney’.
Without interrupting Coasties heading back from Sydney providing essential service work or our freight drivers, We need to have measures in place to control who is heading to the coast and beyond.
Let’s utilise the existing weigh bridge station at Mt White to check rego plates, They can then send locals, northern residents and the freight community straight back onto the freeway using the current signage ‘return to freeway ‘ and question others about their reasons for travelling.
