Nowadays , children are being given a plethora of projects and assignments. They are given a short deadline and are also asked to decorate the files in which they write. This is a waste of resources and time. It also puts a lot of burden on students. The school in which I study has given us a homework stating that we have to make 5 Art Integrated Project files in 10 days i.e. during our Winter Vacation, the only time when we can relax, study and prepare for our annual examinations thoroughly. I am writing this petition as a representative of my class and wish to voice their complaints.

Our demands are as follows:-

• Children should not be given a lot of projects which put a lot of burden on them.
• Children must not be made to unnecessarily decorate project files.
• Teachers should help students in making projects and not leave them to make it on their own.
• Children should be given adequate time to complete projects.
• Topics of projects and assignments should not be on something which is not useful to students or does not enhance their knowledge

If we summarise all this, our only demand is to reduce the burden on children and not force them to overly decorate their projects.
