Protest Against CBSE's Retests of Economics (Class 12) and Mathematics (Class 10) Exams

It has come to our notice that the Economics (Class 12) and Mathematics (Class 10) CBSE Board Examination papers for the year 2018 were leaked and became available to some students prior to the tests.
Meanwhile, thousands of other students across India and outside as well were honest, as they worked hard, studied and gave the test without accessing the leaked papers.
Now we have been informed that all students will be retested for these two subjects.
This is entirely unfair to the students who were honest and did not seek the leaked papers. We are sure this group would comprise of the majority of the students.
Why should these students be punished for no fault of theirs? CBSE was not able to maintain the secrecy of such important examinations. Some students cheated, but all are being punished.
We strongly condemn this decision which puts the children under immense pressure all over again.
The fault lies with the CBSE and decent, honest students are being punished for that and subjected to torture.
Instead CBSE should focus on how the papers were leaked and punish the wrongdoers who are playing with the future and the lives of our children.
WE PROPOSE THAT THE RE-EXAMINATIONS SHOULD NOT BE CONDUCTED, AND AN APPROPRIATE METHOD OF GRADING THE STUDENTS BE CONSIDERED.
