Let's be realistic. Baby steps. I am not asking for anything huge; let's just start with a small disclaimer in movies when they show police brutality. Let's start with "Police brutality is illegal" disclaimer in movies with scenes of police brutality.

We have no problems imposing moral policing with mandatory "Cigarette smoking causes cancer" and "Alcohol consumption is injurious to health", but we ignore basic human rights of alleged criminals. Thousands of innocent people (and why would it matter if they are innocent or not) die every month in India under police "care", and the worst part is, people actually don't know that police brutality is illegal.

We also routinely encourage and glorify police brutality in movies. Take Dabangg, or Singham for example, or Rowdy Rathore, pure glorification of police brutality; even Mardaani 2 normalizes police brutality (again, however heinous the crime, police is not the judge, jury and executioner).

If we need to put health disclaimers for cigarettes and alcohol in works of fiction, why not recognize basic human rights in them?
