As we all know, schools have reopened and not in a safe manner. Some parents are concerned for their child’s health, safety, and mental health at school. There was new covid 19 cases during the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd week of school. There is no social distancing and the teachers don’t wipe the desks when students get up to go to another class. People have been exposed to covid and schools have been telling them that they can go back when they have not been quarantined. Schools and people are not taking covid seriously as they should have.

I think all schools should bring back the option to do hybrid learning which lets students and parents decide if they want their kid to stay in person or go online. The schools should email the parents and let them pick a option so that everyone can be safe. A lot of people cant learn in person and it destroys their mental health and some people can learn in person. Hybrid learning would be the best during this time because some students weren’t ready to go back to school and is still not used to going back  and it’s a big change for them. Covid is still around and cases are still rising especially from everyone going back to school and it’s just best to let ALL schools have the option to do hybrid or online learning.
