Due to items being stolen from graves at the cemetery and football taking place with in the cemetery grounds we would like everyone connected to the cemetery to sign the petition for the council to close the gate and lock it all the time.  They will only look at doing this if we have a petition saying people wants this to happen. With all the stress caused to families that have recently had things taken it would be better to only have one access in to the cemetery all the time.  We all have loved ones and friends in the cemetery and we need to stop things from being taken. Just think if it was your family grave that had something taken how would you feel? These people are shameful, this is a place of rest and where families can go and speak to their loved ones, not arrive and find things have been taken. Please sign the petition so we can ensure nothing else is taken.  Friends of Liversedge Cemetery Group are making things better for all and we want to ensure nothing else is taken.
