My husband, Nartana Shivapriya has not eaten in 29 days. He has embarked on a hunger strike 29 days ago against T-Mobile so that they would provide 24/7 access to mental health providers. The T-Mobile call centers are full of employees experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, and even suicide. Just recently, one young man in the Salem, OR call center committed suicide the evening after a "tough call." This shouldn't happen.

My husband and I both previously worked for the T-Mobile call center, so we understand the abuse the employees endure, with no access to help. So he started a hunger strike. He has starved himself for 29 days.

T-Mobile claims to be an innovator in the industry, they needed to innovate this. Once this rolled out in their call centers, centers around the world would copy it.

AND HE WON!!!! After 28 days, T-Mobile announced they are rolling out a new program that provides 24/7 access to mental health professionals for all T-Mobile employees (52k) and their families. This news is so amazing and going to touch so many lives.

Problem is, T-Mobile refuses to recognize that my husband is the reason for this change. He starved himself for this change for 29 days and they won't credit him, even though we have evidence from upper management congratulating him on his win. This is NOT acceptable.

T-Mobile needs to recognize the sacrifices that my husband made in starving himself for 29 days to bring this change. They wouldn't have made this change without him, they would have continued to cover up suicides and make excuses for employees having to go on Leave of Absence for mental health issues.

He changed this.

Over 52k people will have access to mental health providers now, and that is something to be proud of.

Please Join me in getting Nartana Shivapriya the THANK YOU he deserves for having faith, maintaining his hunger strike, and making such a HUGE impact.
