Sunday, April 22, 2012, is Earth Day. Ever since the first Earth Day in 1970, once a year, we have a special day to celebrate our planet, our environment and its preservation. On this day, we all take the time to think of ways we can save our planet. Everyone has a part to play. No matter who you are, you can make a difference by increasing your own environmental consciousness and encouraging others to do the same. So this Earth Day, do something for the planet. There are a million ways you can participate - plant a tree, pick up garbage, conserve water, turn off the lights when you leave a room, bring a re-usable bag to the supermarket, etc. The list is endless. Be a part of this global movement. Celebrate Mother Earth.
