This petition is being presented to the township board to halt the modernization of rustic Fox Park. Current plans are underway to spend roughly half a million dollars,  with approximately $400k of it from the sale of township property, for modernizing the campground.

Last fall a proposal to keep Fox Park rustic was presented to the board and was completely ignored and shot down. The proposal called for keeping the park rustic with reforesting the area, cleaning up the beach, and adding other amenities to enhance the experience people have when visiting.
