President Biden,

Currently, the United States is importing 209,000 barrels of crude oil and 500,000 barrels per day in other petroleum products from Russia, funneling billions of dollars into Russia.

This is enabling the Russian military to fund and provide for their armed forces who are currently engaged in one of the most criminal conflicts in modern history. This cannot be tolerated. 

You can help with that without having to send troops into the conflicted regions. Along with the sanctions already put into place, it is time to stop purchasing Russian oil altogether. 

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we saw that as a nation that we are capable of weathering tough times. We can work from home. We can tighten our belts. We can and will beat the odds because that is what we Americans have always done. 

The time is now, President Biden. Please do the right thing and tighten the noose around Putin's neck.
