Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 our university education so far has been predominantly online, for this reason we believe that our exams should also be online and would like for you to reconsider this. Not only are we being put at a disadvantage by learning from home as it makes the lectures less engaging, it also puts us at a disadvantage for the exams as we will not have the cues that previous years have had by learning in the classroom. In addition to this, the pandemic has recently spiked, and will likely continue to do so over the Christmas period, especially with most of us going home to see families, so putting us in a hall together straight after mixing with different households is a concern from a COVID standpoint and many of us feel uncomfortable with this. In light of the above explained we would like to ask you to reconsider putting our January exams online and/or discuss an alternative approach with us. Thankyou for your time.
