No re-exam for CBSE class 10 and 12 board paper

The Central Board of Secondary Education has failed to prevent the class 10 maths and class 12 economics board papers from being leaked.

In light of its failure, the Board has decided to conduct the paper once again, causing stress to the honest students who have taken the paper and done well. This decision will impact over 28 lakh students.

If the paper is conducted again, then the Board Exams for classes 10 and 12 will be extended by about 1 week. During the examinations, 1 week is a lifetime to the students. In addition, the plans of many students who are preparing for competitive examinations and for trips abroad will be disrupted.

This petition asks the CBSE to stop the exam from being conducted again and to continue with the papers that have already been submitted. Those who saw the leaked paper may get a few more marks, but the large majority of honest students who gave the paper will be given relief.

If the Board re-conducts the examination, it shows a ‘guilty until proven innocent’ mentality that will punish only the honest students.

This is a matter of general interest. If you're a student, sign this petition to avoid another week of exams. If you're a parent, sign this petition to save your children another week of unnecessary stress. If you're neither a student nor a parent, sign this petition to show the CBSE that it cannot harass its students in this way. It's not okay to punish the students for its failure.

This petition will be delivered to K.K. Choudhury, the Controller of Examinations at the Central Board of Secondary Education so that appropriate action may be taken.
