After a disastrous Physics exam, comes yet another disappointment. The accountancy paper held on 5th March,2020 was not only tough, but extremely lengthy as well.

The batch of 2019-2020 will always be an infamous batch ,as CBSE loves to experiment on us. The sudden change from the CCE pattern , to now throwing out 20 objective type questions that aim at nothing but to sap away our marks and to ensure no student unless those who swallowed the textbook gets above 95, we get tough papers as well. Many of us expected that the paper might be easy since its the first time were attempting such a paper, but CBSE doesnt seem to agree.

Now on to the accountancy paper. I wouldnt go out as far as to say the questions were out of syllabus or anything extremely difficult, but i will say this - CBSE ensured that the questions were as tough and lengthy as possible without students and teachers being able to complain that the questions were of CPT level. Majority of students couldnt complete the paper, and the ones who did had no time to check. on top of that was the cash flow question that was misprinted, as well as the cash flow from operating activities wrong. Students spent around half an hour trying to match the cash flow given in the question, but to no prevail. There were too many journal entry questions, all which ensured that students would not be able to satisfactorily complete their paper on time.  Most of the questions were tough with tricky adjustments, and too lengthy to be completed within the 1 mark-2 minutes time frame.

I request, on behalf of all the students of CBSE, to please do a lenient correction this year, and also allot marks for the improper questions. Each student has put in sincere effort, and would be extremely unfair to them to rob them off their hardwork this way.
