On April 21 2022, CBSE released the syllabus for class 10   ( 2022 - 23 ). It includes 21 chapters for Social Science.

An 80 mark exam will contain 21 chapters each carrying 3-4 marks which can put a burden on an average student to learn 20-25 pages for just 3-4 marks. 

Even before the pandemic the syllabus consisted of 4 history chapters following the board pattern which has now increased to 5 chapters. 

This increased syllabus has put undue pressure on students who are just emerging from the online based learning of pandemic, where they have to study 6 subjects at the same time in a subjective format. 

A request to the concerned people from the students of class 10 Session 2022 - 23 to kindly go through the syllabus once again and alter it.
