CBS Television: CBS Television should create four new Star Trek television series

The Issue

The greater social good that Star Trek and all significant science fiction literature does is that it inspires curiosity and ambition in children and motivates them to study math, engineering and science. It also motivates current scientists and engineers to push themselves and embrace their own responsibility to progress our civilization and make significant advancements in aerospace engineering and cosmology. The Star Trek story is far from fully told. There are too many back stories(internal wars and wars against the federation and other empires, political intrigue, internal espionage within their empires, espionage against the federation and other civilizations, significant historical figures) of prominent civilizations that had a significant impact on the main story lines of the federation that have not been told. There is enough back story for CBS Television to write 12 seasons of shows easily, with an already built in fan base at a great profit. Just like CSI and Law and Order these multiple series can be run simultaneously. However, this is bigger than CBS Television's bottom line, it is about making the infinite possibilities in advanced science and engineering fun and exciting, thereby, motivating young people and current engineers and scientists to more quickly advance science and engineering in our society. Therefore, CBS Television Corporation should create four new Star Trek television series 1. Star Trek: The Klingon Empire 2. Star Trek : The Romulan Empire 3. Star Trek : BORG and 4. Star Trek: Starfleet Intelligence(this would be 007/Jason Bourne/SEAL Team/Delta Force meets Star Trek TNG away missions)
