This petition not only impacts myself, friends, family, and millions of others that love & consistently view Big Brother season after season. It will also impact the contestants of Big Brother for the better. During this season of Big Brother a group called: “The Cookout” (exclusive to people with a certain skin color) have been allowed, secretly of course, to band together and exclusively target people that don’t share their same skin color. I’m not sure what kind of justification you can use for this blatant bigotry, but it must be stopped in it’s tracks.

Note that in the video that I linked from Big Brother’s YouTube channel, or the videos you can find on said channel, they do not use incriminating words. They can say it’s for social causes all they want, but at the end of the day this group was solely formed based on and because of their skin color. Not only that, but they are targeting everyone else because they do not share their skin color.

It is a problem regardless of what color the skin is. Bigotry is indiscriminate in it’s perpetrator(s) and victim(s), and can’t be allowed under any circumstances whatsoever. I know you may think: “Oh it’s just a game show, who cares?” But what’s allowed at all is a direct reflection of the person, group, business, nation, or planet that allows it. I feel it is my duty as a human being with the capacity to reason between right and wrong to call out injustice in any form, at anytime, at any place. This is regardless of this person’s, group’s, business’, nation’s, or planet’s relation to me.

So I ask you not as someone who does or doesn’t share this skin color, not as someone who does or doesn’t care, but as a human being who lives on planet Earth with the capacity to reason between right and wrong to support this cause.
