The children of Episkopi need the side gate reopening at school start and finish times. Currently this route has been closed, causing the children of Kensington and Gibraltar to take an unsafe long route to school. Turning a 10-15 minute walk into a 40 minute walk, over gravel and 50+ steps.  Meaning children  can no longer ride scooters or bikes to school. It has been proven that children who walk, bike or scoot to school have better academic performance overall also adding to their fitness and the social aspect of going to school talking to friends and meeting new friends. This is extremely important in a military family for both the children and their parents to meet new people due to regular moves and needing to make new friends.  The gate pre Covid was open so please let's get it reopen.
