It's simple. We change the theme song of the Canadian staple, Hockey Night in Canada to "Go Team Go" by the great Canadian crooner Frank D'Angelo. He loves hockey and he loves his music and this would be the perfect way to merge the two.

This song is all about hockey. Frank names a bunch of hockey players so you know he knows hockey. In the song he reminisces about how people used to play hockey together and pretend to be famous hockey players. But now I guess that's not the case. This makes Frank sad so he takes it out on the listener and allows us to share in his pain at the loss of hockey as a past time. 

Of course hockey hasn't gone anywhere. In fact its probably very popular I'd wager. But the fact of the matter is hockey isn't what it once was and Frank remembers that.

At the end of the song he begs the listener "please. For Canada. Bring back our game". All the big rinks have gone dry. Where were you when hockey left us? This is the the kind of question Hockey Night in Canada asks and Frank understands and represents that. He WANTS us to have hockey back. He KNOWS that our country is vulnerable without it.

But Frank is just one man. He cant spread awareness of his music all by himself. By making "Go Team Go" the theme song for Hockey Night in Canada we can get Frank on the big stage and help give him the recognition he deserves.
