Dua Lomesh started this petition to Arvind Kejriwal (Chief Minister of Delhi) and

POWER CONCEDES NOTHING WITHOUT DEMAND

CENTRALIZED ACCIDENTS AND TRAUMA SERVICE (CATS), 102 AMBULANCE;

HOW TO ASSURE BETTER EMERGENCY MEDICAL FACILITY IN DELHI ?

  1. The city’s ambulance crisis = resulted from the negligence of the workers demanding the payment pending since last 3 months by #(CATS department+ BVG UKSAS EMS PVT. LTD.)
  2. What does it mean to be an Emt in DELHI EMS, ie CATS

sitting in an ambulance for 12 hours on a street corner can be a frustrating circumstance, Still you have to stay active when it comes to attend various medical emergencies including Road Traffic Incidents, Fall From height, Fire, Cardiac emergencies, Pregnancy n much more. Additionally, productivity of a high-performance EMS system also needs to be balanced so that staff can get appropriate breaks, meals and facility use.

How long do you expect someone, to work WITHOUT salary ?

CATS is “essential service” under Haryana Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1974.

WHY Government isn't able to pay the Employees since last 3 months ? that's too for an essential service.

        2. WHAT PRIVATIZATION  HAS DONE TO OUR EMS ?

# It gives rise to the corruption, since in order to win the tender, being in a range of competing pvt. firms, companies switch to bribe ridden methods.

#"Private sector would not care about the society as its main objective is to earn money"

#Many Govt. firms are been having a loss due to privatisation. for e.g. Air India, BEST etc.

#Salaries given to workers is been lowered than the public sector.

#Many fraud companies and organisations make frauds in a country like Kingfisher etc. and this is been raising problem in India.

Internal, local, state and federal politics associated with our EMS systems and industry can also influence success. I've seen well-run, highly effective and efficient EMS systems become devastated due to poor politics where votes or political pandering are put in front of proper, pragmatically driven decisions. Ultimately, it's the patients, taxpayers and providers who get hurt in these situations, but unfortunately the public is typically uninformed.
