Amanda K started this petition to catholic community schools and

When I was in seventh grade, in my regular mood after lunch on a normal day, I had art where I was dress coded by a male teacher because I wasn't covering my front behind, that was too distracting for boys. This issue at my school has been happening continuously to my peers that attend my school and me. I have talked to my assistant principal about this conflict plenty of time before, and yet he keeps telling me he has tried in the past to fix this situation for good. However, I have been notified that there was never a single discussion for our current dress code to ever change since 2015. If our school board really cared about our education, they should start giving guys a talk out in the hall and detention for not controlling their words and actions instead of girls trying to be themselves, being happy, and being the most confident version of themself. My assistant principal told me, "It's hard not to look at a girl's back and underwear when their shirt got rolled up when they're sitting down." I believe that male staff and teachers should not dress code female minors to feel comfortable and not get perved on at school where we go to feel safe and get a well-deserved education without worries of rape
