We, as parents, want to proactively let the administration know that we do NOT want our children to be forced to wear a mask in school.
The health department recommendations are not mandates. Catholic Central should have their own policy. Each individual family should be able to make their own decision. Individuals who choose to wear a mask should be allowed to, while healthy individuals who do not want to wear masks should not have to. We, as parents, would like our children to have a year full of normal high school events including resuming lunch in cafeteria, focus time, sporting events and social activities.
