The Omicron variant of COVID has brought Catawba county back into having high community spread. The school systems website shows the positivity rate for students and employees has risen as has quarantines. If everyone was wearing masks fewer people would have to quarantine, keeping kids and teachers in the classrooms.
Make masks mandatory in all Catawba county schools again.
