TheBringBackMsGwynnFoundation started this petition to School Board Caswell County School Board

*THIS IS A SERIOUS PETITION USE REAL NAMES*

Updated November 4th 2019 / 12am

What Happened? On Thursday, October 31st 2019 BYHS principal Joanna Gwynn resigned effective Friday, November 1st 2019. The Board of Education and Superintendent Doctor Sandra Carter, are the ones that are noted to have triggered this. This is an injustice to the people of Caswell County. High schoolers education does not deserve to be in the hands of the board of education. Joanna Gwynn was the last line of REAL defense at the high school. Shielding it from many reckless decisions and pushes from the central office. It’s time for the community to stand against the school board and make sure BYHS does not fall. The board has done enough to harm education in the county we call home.

Why You Should Sign This? Enough is enough, the school board has gotten away with enough. Our schools are being torn apart by their policies. Doctor Sandra Carter and prior superintendents have gotten away with enough. Our school board is a mess and needs to be reprimanded. The students of Bartlett Yancey High School have had enough of this tomfoolery.

What Do We Want From This? The Board of Education will request that Joanna Gwynn return to her position at Bartlett Yancey High School. They will get their act together and stop acting making reckless choices.

The board of education will receive this petition as soon as we get 500 signatures. Please sign so we can turn this in by Friday, November 8th. We do not deserve to lose a great educator and principal due to the recklessness of the superintendent and board of education.

if you are a staff member, student or community member please sign. We need to unite as a community because what has occurred should not be allowed! The mistakes the board has made should not ruin education for the future citizens from Caswell County.
