Now, the only thing I can think of as why Sam Witwer hasn’t been cast as the main character in Days Gone movie, is because somebody already approached him and he firmly said “no thanks”, which seems a bit improbable. Otherwise it’s complete nonsense, he did the mo-cap, the voice, so he quite literally IS Deacon St. John, Sony would have Z E R O work with him character wise, and it would most likely be easier for him than the whole motion capture business. Sam, if you are by any chance reading this, please go for it, if the movie does well, we might be getting the deserved sequel after all. �
