Claims Administrative Services (CAS): Stop Discrimination Against the Disabled

Claims Administrative Services (CAS): Stop Discrimination Against the Disabled
Please support this petition and stand with me to change a policy that discriminates against people with a disability that prevents them from driving. CAS punishes disabled claimants and dismisses their claims simply because they cannot drive long distance to another town to get a "second medical opinion" despite MRIs proving their injuries.
I have disabilities due to having diabetes for a long time. My injury on the job occured because my employer ignored my disability and accommodations report that she asked for. I have a permanent disabled driver's id. and placard and proof of an on the job injury to my driving leg. I explained to the adjustor that I could not drive the 100 miles to the "second medical appointment" she made for me. I had no one else to drive me the 3 to 4 hours roundtrip. So, despite my accommodations being ignored, having 2 MRIs which proved the injury on the job, and waiting a full 7 months from the time the claim was initiated until the "second medical opinion" appointment was made, I was simply told I was being uncooperative by not attending that appointment and my case was closed.
CAS, please change your policy. People with disabilities should not be discriminated against simply because they cannot drive like able bodied people. You need to change your policy and either schedule appointments within the claimants town or arrange and pay for someone to drive them to the out of town long distance appointment at your cost. Please change your policy and re-open my case. Do the right thing.
