Bring Back Classic Cartoons That Have Been Forgotten By Time
Many of the cartoons on TV have poor and uninspired storylines and those cartoons that were very successful are all but forgotten. Let's send a message to the entertainment corporations, such as Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and Disney to revive what we are about to lose before they are gone forever.

Bring Back the '90s (Classic Cartoon Revival)
Do you remember those cartoons from the late 1980's and throughout the 1990's and early 2000's? If some of you don't then it's a sign of the times. When was the last time shows like The Powerpuff Girls or Dexter's Lab ever saw the light of day from the eyes of the public? We may be entering 20-teens, but that shouldn't mean the end of these classic cartoons.
In fact, I believe the decline of companies, mainly Cartoon Network (abbreviated CN) in particular, began after the death of William Hanna, of the partnership Hanna-Barbera, in March of 2001. Slowly but surely, Hanna-Barbera cartoons were being replaced by the uninspired ones the "new" CN was putting on the air. And then, CN's fate was sealed with the death of Joseph Barbera, also of Hanna-Barbera, in December of 2006. If they were alive today, both Hanna and Barbera would most likely be appalled that their wonderful creations have been all but forgotten in our modern society.
These marvelous cartoons should be revived and reshown to our younger generations today. Yes, some of those older cartoons were violent to some degree (i.e. Looney Toons depicting characters with firearms in various episodes), but I say it's a bit better than the crude, crass humor some of today’s cartoons try to pass on to our children. And in some instances, these classic cartoons can only be scene on designated channels that most people have to pay extra to even view them on their televisions! I think this is nothing more than a shameful scam! Why shouldn't cartoons like these be available to the general public on a daily basis on regularly viewed channels?!
I think it's time we all took a stand. I think it's time to revive what has been forgotten, and take charge in what our children should watch! So please, sign this petition, and support the end of uninspiration and the beginning of revision!
