Almost five years ago I severely broke my back at Peet's Hill. I was paralyzed before surgery and had to learn to walk again. I still deal with the effects of this injury on my body every day.

One of my friends just broke his back today at Peet's Hill. I am having Deja Vu. That makes four people I know of personally. And many more I am hearing of who have been affected by life-altering injuries as I type.

I REPEAT: DO NOT GO SLEDDING AT PEETS HILL! It's not worth a life of pain!!!

Starting this petition so that more people will avoid "hospital hill" as the nurses call it.. that hill is responsible for too many injuries to count.

I am hoping to have signs / warnings posted at Peet's Hill to warn potential sledders of the dangers. As well as a guard rail put in along the biking / hiking trail so that the trail is still accessible in the summer - but prevents sledders from getting too far up the hill / gaining too much speed to stop - and causing these injuries. My hope is to prevent others from living with the pain that I do every day.
