Carrying the torch for human rights in China: Take Action!

On the heels of widespread protests all over the world, the Olympic torch relay continued in San Francisco today.

China promised it would improve its human rights record before the 2008 summer Olympics. With the recent crackdown on peaceful dissent in Tibet, the rounding up and jailing of prominent human rights activists, and increased censorship of the media, China's human rights violations have only increased in the months leading up to the games.

Tell President Bush that before he attends the opening ceremony of the Olympics this August, it's critical that he pressures China to clean up its act.

Take action now!
