Minecraft: Education Edition is a version of a very popular game called Minecraft (which you've probably heard of at this point), mainly created for the purpose of kids in schools to learn more about elements, coding, history, math, science, and mechanics. Now, I know what you're thinking: Minecraft may look like a game where all you do is useless things that aren't school-related. However, Minecraft has a "Creative mode", where kids alike can come together or play solo to build and/or create anything they want. Minecraft's reason of making Education Edition was for kids to have fun, not to do stupid things that are useless to our education. It was meant for good. As an example of how it's used, I've learned a lot of elements and experimented with them (one of my projects exploded, but that was only one time). When somebody mentions the word "Minecraft", at least one kid around them will know what it is, and maybe even start to talk about how it's so fun to build, play, and mess around in it. The real Minecraft may be for learning to survive in the wild, but it also has its "younger brother", which is Education Edition, where kids can experiment with elements, learn from their mistakes, and start fresh when they need to. So, to summarize my plead, please add Minecraft: Education Edition to the list of approved utilities for Carroll ISD. Thank you.
