Recently myself and my housemate have experienced a neighbour taking photographs of us and harassing us in our garden, after feeling uncomfortable in this situation we have had to take it into police action to be told it is not a law and he has a right to take our picture whilst in our private property. Because of this and the fact of how uncomfortable we feel in our own property we have had to take actions into our own hands by erecting gazebos and new fences to try to block his view. This has been unsuccessful as we are only allowed to erect a fence 6 foot which does not cover his view into our property! We have also had to have cctv installed into our gardens as this man has been been onto our property and verbally harassed us. We would like to have this made a law that people cannot take pictures of other people in their own property to save our privacy.
