Hello & thank you for your time. This petition is from the suburban community of Wandi, namely residence of the estates within Honeywood, Honeywood Rise, Whistling Grove & Kenby Heights.

Because of the very large number of dogs that live in the Wandi suburban area, we are asking for a 'DOG OFF LEAD/EXERCISE AREA'. Most blocks in the suburban part of Wandi are between 200-400 square meters and are not big enough for dogs to get appropriate exercise. We understand there is a dog exercise area at 288 De Haer Road Wandi, although this is 50 minute walk from suburban Wandi and doesn't service the estates flanking the Kwinana Freeway.

This is a topic that the community feels strongly about and impacts on everyone in the area. Residents have been conversing with the Kwinana Council for 3 years now and would like action taken on this topic.
