Refund for Carnival Victory Passengers 3/20-3/24/2017

Our family was aboard the Carnival Victory the week of March 20-24, 2017 that passenger Brandon Paul fell overboard.  From the first announcement, "Man overboard, starboard" our family watched, listened and prayed for the person.  Our four young children were so terrified that we pushed our beds together so we could let them sleep between us the rest of the cruise.  Every time the loud speaker went off our children ran to us...afraid of what was coming next.  The rest of the cruise was very stoic and somber.  We all just wanted OFF the cruise ship.  The ridiculously slow trip back to Miami was painful to pass.  There was no way to enjoy ourselves knowing we left a fellow passenger, dead or alive, floating in the waters off the coast of Cuba.  Carnival's offer of 20% off our next cruise booking was an absolute insult.  Now, we know that Carnival is the most unsafe cruise line in the industry!  Why on earth would we put ourselves or our family on another Carnival Cruise ship?  A full refund of booking fees to ALL passengers, not the gratuities-the staff earned those, is the only way to make this situation right.  Carnival Corporate made poor decisions in its policies to serve alcohol, emergency notifications systems on board, protocol for man overboard situations and refund to passengers.
