Restraints do NOT benefit anyone. Anyone who thinks they do should be barred from ever working with children, especially disabled children.

I don't tolerate physical restraints of any kind. Physical restraints should be banned forever.

This is entirely detrimental for children. No reason for this to happen.

No one should ever have to endure this but it’s extremely troubling when used on neurodivergent people!

I support this petition as a professional (pediatric SLP) and as a mother. We need serious change in how we collectively understand dysregulation & sensory integration in order to help all children, families and schools find sustainable solutions that honor and preserve each child’s sense of self and developing self-esteem. This is long overdue.
