Restraints do NOT benefit anyone. Anyone who thinks they do should be barred from ever working with children, especially disabled children.

I support this petition as a professional (pediatric SLP) and as a mother. We need serious change in how we collectively understand dysregulation & sensory integration in order to help all children, families and schools find sustainable solutions that honor and preserve each child’s sense of self and developing self-esteem. This is long overdue.
