This would be the nearest gun range to my house. I refuse to go to Don's guns on Lafayette Road and currently drive all the way up to Sheridan for supplies and all the way down to Pops guns off 40 and Post Road to shoot at the range in the winter. I would spend considerably more time and money in Carmel if this range is built.

Because I have a permit to carry a concealed weapon (which I do NOT at this time- because I want MORE training) and all the ranges are so far away!!! We need our own please!

After living in Hamilton County for 15 years, I can't understand why there would be any opposition to a business that would bring potential jobs to the city of Carmel, support a business that is aligned directly with the values, opinions of a party that intrenched in every political seat, while allowing many voters within the county a local business to support instead of traveling outside Hamilton County.

I work in Carmel, very close to the proposed site. I feel it would be a welcome addition to the community.

Carmel feels that they can pick and choose who fits in their society. It is time to allow ALL small businesses to flourish without being hassled by a small city government. This range will also have to get approved by the ATF to make sure that the range is absolutely safe to shoot in.

I am an avid supporter of firearms and firearm safety. Going to the range has not only functioned as a hobby for my family and me, but a means of protection and security as well. It is part of our constitutional right to bare arms in the United States. A firing range would function as a means of firearm education, safety & practice. There aren't many shooting ranges around the area, so a location in Carmel would benefit many who are interested in protecting themselves & their families, or merely, interested in entertaining a hobby.
