Jocelyn Corcoran started this petition to Carmel Christian School

Elementary students, middle schoolers, and high school students are separate, and thus, should have separate yearbooks.  Those in varying grade levels are a part of many differing activities, therefore having one K-12 yearbook is illogical.

The cost alone is approx. $100 for a hard cover, thick yearbook.  This petition is for CCS to create a separate, thinner, paperback color yearbook, containing only ES children happenings, for a fraction of the cost, (max $25.00).  There is no reasonable or justified need to purchase such a high-priced yearbook for ES students, especially considering they only encompass a sliver of the space within the yearbook.  Another benefit is since ES (and possible MS) will be removed from the thicker yearbook, the cost of the HS yearbook should also decrease.

This could also be a really fun experience for ES / MS students to participate in early on and throughout the year!  They could have cover contests, writing pieces, drawings, classroom votes for fun/silly accolades, for example:  happiest, funniest, best at sports, great writer, great artist, etc. Wonderful teambuilding and what a great way for the kids to look back and enjoy "their" special book!

Please join in helping to push this needed change through to CCS yearbook staff.  Thank you!
