I'm signing because if these are left to the same council that has absolutely ruined our town centre until it's close to becoming a ghost town...then let's make sure this petition succeeds..!!!!

There are not enough playing fields left for kids to play in or people to walk their dogs etc.. there are too many places being ripped up to build

Green spaces like these are essential & will become ever more so in the future. There is nothing more cost effective that can preserve mental & physical well-being than our local, freely accessed green spaces.

Llanelli has a lot of dense housing areas. It's important people have access to open spaces to exercise, walk their dogs and for children to play in. These activities have been proven to improve child development, mental health and happiness.

Open spaces allow local residents to meet and interact with each other, creating a safer and stronger community.

This recreational ground is much-needed in this area of LLanelli. Once built on, the green spaces will not return and wildlife habitats lost in the process.
