Improve Sandy Road traffic by banning right-turns into and out of Maesycoed

In view of the continuing tailbacks on Sandy Road, which are considerably inconveniencing both local residents and regular users of this key route into Llanelli, we call on Carmarthenshire County Council to trial a no right-turn regime at the Sandy Road lights in order to improve traffic flow.
The lights have now been in place for two months and it is obvious that simply adjusting their calibration is nothing like enough to prevent the tailbacks. Clearly we need a consultation, but this would be a cheap and easy solution that could be implemented quickly with minimal disruption.
