“We must fight against the spirit of unconscious cruelty with which we treat the animals. Animals suffer as much as we do. True humanity does not allow us to impose such sufferings on them. It is our duty to make the whole world recognize it. Until we extend our circle of compassion to all living things, humanity will not find peace.”

I have been against these plastic rings for a long time. I commend Carlsberg beer for replacing the plastic rings with recyclable glue. Our wildlife is in dire need of help. We can all do this together. I never pull the rings off of cans and bottles. I cut in between them and the plastic rings stay in place. I am always thinking of wildlife and domestic animals. Hoping the rest of the world who deals with plastic rings will follow suit with Carlsberg beer.

Stupid to still be using these plastic death rings. It is perfectly possible to hold bottles or cans together with card and save wildlife.

No company should be using these rings in 2021. There are safer alternatives. Be responsible.
