Bring Coach Louis Pecot Back To The Pirates!

Coach Louis Pecot was the swim coach for the Los Angeles Pirates, an inner-city swim team in South Los Angeles, located at Jesse Owens Park. He has been the coach for the past 30 years. On September 14, 2017 he was removed from his employment from the Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation Department with no explanation. Our beloved Coach Louis has been the heartbeat to our swim team. Coach Louis has worked tirelessly for our team without expecting anything in return but the satisfaction of seeing his young students learn how to swim and he has developed them as great athletes and future Olympians. Coach Louis has been the face representing the county's aquatics programs for the past decade. It is very disheartening how easily the Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation Department has forgotten what a man like Coach Louis Pecot has done for the community, but we don't forget and are grateful for the sacrifices that he has made. This petition is to get Coach Louis reinstated as the coach for the Los Angeles Pirates Swim Club. Your signature can help bring him back. Please Sign and Bring Coach Louis Back! #BringCoachLouisBack
