Cardiff University Student Union currently has a society named "Students For Life". This society, and its description being accepted and allowed to continue is an embarrassment, and actively encourages anti women, sexist and misogynistic narratives to take place. University is a safe space and an escape for SO many students, so why do we have a society that endangers them and supports and contributes to this? ANY society that has a harmful message or narrative SHOULD NOT be a part of university life, and the society needs to be removed immediately. 

As women, as people who DESERVE human rights we are asking you to do better. As a university you speak about protecting women's rights, and helping, but you allow this to continue. I understand there is the argument for freedom of speech, but there is a CLEAR ISSUE when a society can openly have the sentence "mothers are allowed to k*ll their unborn babies) on the page until yesterday CLEARLY shows the harm this society does. More than anything, it makes us feel unsafe to be in the university as women, when our university is funding and supporting something like this.

Please remove this society, and just do better Cardiff University,
