Adrian spragg started this petition to Cardiff residents

We have a parcel of land on the outskirts of Gwaelod Y Garth in Cardiff that has been refused any form of development by Cardiff planners, including a stable block that would offer shelter and refuge for recued donkeys.

I am at the end of my tether with the lack of support provided by Cardiff councils planning department, so I am reaching out to gain the peoples support, so that this derelict parcel of land that was previously home to a large church, can be put to good use.

My aim is to implement a sustainable, eco-friendly, boutique camp site and farm shop, which would offer agricultural diversification and encourage tourism to this beautiful suburb of Cardiff. Our business model is aimed at holidaymakers who want to glamp within a city that boasts state of the art infrastructure, iconic stadiums, theatres, world leading sporting events, castles, nature and of course, dragons.

Profits from this sustainable business would be used to support the introduction and ongoing welfare costs of rescued donkeys that will be located within an alternative paddock within the farm complex.

For full details of the intended development, please refer to planning application 19/03285/MNR

The business plan supporting this application identifies a need for diverse holiday accommodation in Cardiff that can offer pet friendly accommodation, with public transport readily available. This site meets this criteria.

Please sign this petition so we can push this plan forward

With thanks !
