Urgent - Save Wedal Road Hwrc from closure

The Wedal Road recycling centre has been earmarked for closure in October 2016 and this will have a disastrous impact on the residents of Cardiff North. The proposed "super site" at Lamby Way is not ready and both this site & Bessemer Close site are too far away for residents to access easily.
The Wedal Road site is heavily used and the Labour administration could have opted to use the site further down this road as a "super site". With the prospect of thousands more homes being built on the green belt around Cardiff North, no consideration has been given as to how these homes will be serviced with an HWRC.
Cardiff North councillors Fenella Bowden and Lyn Hudson are therefore joining forces & launching this final petition & campaign calling on Cardiff Council to reconsider its decision and keep Wedal Road open.
